Default Oly C2100 falling apart :(

Furthur to my recent post re: the dial being wonky..

On saturday I was holding the camera for quite some time while watching football (maybe an hour or so)

Then my right hand felt stick and when i looked it was black... the front of the hand grip (is it leaher or rubber) had fallen to the floor and I was hold of the sticky bear camera..

I put it back but its still peeling here and there.

I do look after my camera.. cant understand why its faling apart..

Just glue back on would ya say?

Hi Tony...

Here are some suggestions:

Purchase two or three adhesive products.

Put a minute amount on the grip.

If it does not begin to dissolve the grip, you're in

Otherwise...wipe it off!

Keep lens cap on..."just in case"!

Good luck!

Probably "Contact Rubber Cement" will work, but follow the directions exactly for permanent bonding!

Note, I do not mean contact cement or rubber cement...has to be Contact Rubber Cement.

Or, check out this site about glue advice, http://www.thistothat.com/
