Default Camedia Master 4.0 & web pages

I have an Olympus D-550z camera and the Camedia Master Pro 4.0 software (which I have upgraded to the pro version).

I created an HTML album (one page, just to try it) and used my service providers file manger tool to upload the files to my webspace. The page looks great except the thumbnails and the images are blank. When I upload a photo by itself it shows up on my webpage just fine but, of course, none of the fancy formatting is there.

This is the first time I have ventured into creating a web page and I may just not know what I am doing!

Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone advise me on how to do this correctly?

Thanks a lot!

Have you uploaded the thumbnails and the images too?

You have to upload them, and set the links where those files are listed on the *website*...you can't just upload the HTML and have the photos linked to your own computer's hard drive.

But now you have to make sure where the pictures are uploaded to and the links to those pictures MATCH!

If you post an URL to the page you uploaded, one of the thumbnails, and one of the large pictures, that would help. When I say a url to a picture, I don't mean the HTML code, but the actual location where you uploaded the picture to.

The URL where I uploaded to is www3.telus.net/public/bgroe.

As I said before, I am using an upload tool provided from my service provider (telus). It is supposed to make it easy to create your own webpage. It is not quite working out that way.

Thanks in advance for any tips you can provide.

Usually people pay good money for this type of diagnosing...anyway your problem is you have all your images in your website's root directory, http://www3.telus.net/public/bgroe

For example:

http://www3.telus.net/public/bgroe/thumbnail1.jpg
http://www3.telus.net/public/bgroe/image1.jpg

Your webpage however is looking for the images in specific directories...using the two above examples (I emphasized the directories that are being looked for in capital letters):

http://www3.telus.net/public/bgroe/T...thumbnail1.jpg
http://www3.telus.net/public/bgroe/IMAGE/image1.jpg

You'll have to add those directories to the root directory, and then move the images from your root directory to the directories that they are being called from.

The same goes for your site's buttons (again emphasized in capital letters):

http://www3.telus.net/public/bgroe/PARTS/home1.jpg

The other choice is to change all your HTML to look for the files in the root directory, but it's a better idea to keep all your images, thumbnails, and buttons in different directories.
