Default HELP!! First time buyer --- Oly C-5050 Zoom Vs. Oly C-750 UZ

I have been struggling for months on whether i should get the C-5050 or C-750. I am looking to take quality pictures, and I would like print them out occasionaly. I used a Sony P5 before from a friend and I found that it had a huge shutter lag and problems taking pictures in low light setting. Please someone help me out, I really don't know which is the right camera for me.
By the way, I really want to know if it is a good deal to get a 2nd hand C5050 for about $600? or a C750 for $550? both with a 128xd card.
Thank you all for helping me!!! ops:  ops:

Go to www.newegg.com and you can price the C5050 for $550 and the C750 for $599 with free shipping. They both come with a one year warranty.

The C5050 has one of the best lens for low light photography. It also has an auto assist lamp for helping with focus in low light conditions. However, it only has 3X optical.

The C750 has an excellent lens for ultra zoom but not the quality of the c5050 for low light.

You have to set your priorities on which is more important low light photos or ultra zoom

Hey gibsonpd3620,
thank you for your advice. I would like to know would I get the same result if I get an extra lens that gives me more zooming power for the C5050z? or is it going to affect the quality of the pictures? because if I could, then I will definitely get the C5050z. thank you for your help once again.

I purchased the Raynox Pro 185 which adds 1.85 multiplication to your 3x optical zoom. Cost with adapter tube was about $110. contact www.2filters.com for assistance.

I own both cameras (and the 720). I prefer the 750 slightly over the 5050. The 10x lens is a big plus, but I like the layout and format of the controls on the 750. It has gotten a much bigger workout than my 5050.
