Thanks Steve!!
You did it again,I have been going to this site forever, recommending it to who ever I hear is pondering on getting a new cam...all my cams so far have been bought after reading your reviews and actually understanding most of the terms used on the cam specifications. My first was the C 700,2 years later upgraded to the C-750 and then I waited rather impatiently once I saw that the SP570is out to hear what you have to say on it,once you gave it the thumbs up,I went and ordered it through your sponsors, can't wait to put my hands on it,Thanks again!!!

I read the above review and purchased one. No more lugging all those lenses and attachments around. It has one annoying feature, the zoom ring lag, but other than that I like this camera a lot.

The attached pic was at maximum digital zoom, hand held from a moored boat. I had to downgrade it for uploading but it shows just how sharp a grabbed chance shot can be. There is some atmospheric blurring. Not a bad test for the image stabilizer?

So the zoom lag is a problem???

I was wondering if something was wrong with my camera. I just got it on Friday...and it seems to lag off and on..sometimes the pic doesnt' seem to focus either if you zoom too quickly...any other thougths on this?
