Default adapter rings??

I have a friend who owns a c-750 olympus - she already has a 2x Extarnar telephotolens for a kodak camera. Now, is there any way to adapt that 43mm 2xlens to the 45.6mm olympus c750 camera with or with an adapter tube ( the cla4) ??? Thank you for any help or advice you may have

contact www.2filters.com. They are great company that will answer your question and sell the products for a reasonable price.

The closest third party tube is 46mm (the Olympus CLA-4 is 55mm)...for that lens you'll also need a 46mm-43mm stepdown adapter. I have to state though with this combination you will get vignetting through most of the camera's zoom range...even some who use 52mm diameter teleconverters have experienced vignetting.

- Check out the Oly_C-700 Yahoo Group, discussions, fun assignments for all C-7x0 users (700, 720, 730, 740, 745, 750, 755):

Thanks - that was the biggest concern - the vignetting.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone who uses lenses that small in diameter...even with my .7 55mm wide angle I get a little vignetting, so I coulnd't imagine how bad it might be at 43mm. The concensus among C-7x0 users is don't use anything below 52mm diameter (unless you're stuck with it like a digiscope).

If the Kodak 2x teleconverter isn't used for anything else, there's certainly a market for it by those who use smaller cameras like the Nikon Coolpix.
