Default Olympus D-550 Dark Picture

I took a picture today and when I looked at my pic through the
view finder it was not clear/bright. The picture was dark. You could barley see the picture. You had to tilt the camera back and forth to see it at all. But it was Dark.... Weird.. I have had this camera for 2 years and this is the first. Have I changed something in my settings?
The Flash worked fine. The other pictures I took 3 days ago looked
fine..
You have any Ideals what it might be?
email me at [email protected]

First time Ive seen this Forum. Looks GREAT!!
I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed on cameras.
I've got a few questions.

Well, we have to see the picture and know what the situation was in which the picture was taken to know what happened. We need you to post a sample of the picture, along with Exif text (either intact in the original photo, or extracted out of the picture and posted here).

What you've asked is like someone saying, "my car is making a noise, what's wrong with it?" We need more info to answer your question.

Due to my busy email account and the amount of emails I get in a day, I can't afford to receive pictures. Do you have the picture posted online? Here's how it should be linked to, either as a direct URL:

http://www.url.com/picturename.jpg

or as an actual picture here:

(img)http://www.url.com/picturename.jpg(/img)

(except you have to use square brackets instead of round ones).

If you don't have an online account, I suggest posting it at Pbase.com...there they keep the original picture with Exif info intact.
