Just one quick question, why shoot small when a 128 meg card is about $50 delivered? You can always resize with camida to 640x480 for email. camedia 4.0 allows you to drag and drop multiple big for printing on single sheet of paper, it resizes them by itself. After a low res pic taken there is no way to enlarge w/o quality loss. Will look in my 3040 manuel and get proceeder for storing changes and post a little later, should be same as c-40.

youhave to turn the "all reset" to off, with on all values goto default. find the "setting the recording quality" section, foot note at end "caution" should steer you in right direction to turn off reset all.
