Default SP590 - toadstools

This little patch of toadstools is five inches (12.5 cms) across and the largest toadstool is 1.5 inches (<4 cms) across. Photos are as they came off the camera but resized to fit the forum requirements. Taken with camera hand-held while lying on the grass.

One of the many great attributes of the SP590 is it's ability to do great macros. These are no exception.

I find macros fascinating -- here's an update on the toadstool patch. The above were taken early last evening. Now see how they've morphed overnight ...

That first one is a tad out of focus but I like that second one.

Thanks gj. Yes, I was just so taken by the way the 'skirts' turned up on the first one that I didn't even see it wasn't quite in focus until after I'd uploaded. I can get tunnel vision at times, just taking note of the bit I see as 'special'.
