Pine Tree Computing - Camera Controller
Camera Controller is software that can be used to control your Olympus digital camera from your PC. Camera controller lets you set up your camera and take both single frame and time lapse shots directly from your camera to your PC. Also included is a fast download utility.

vampgirl, you might also like to look at Cam2Com too. This does all the same sort of stuff as Pine Tree, but obviously with its own slightly different interface.

Default Strange: it won't install

I encountered pretty strange problem trying to install both of the programs (camera controller and cam2com). Both of the apps are distributed in msi format. Instalation interrupts "because of error" before it starts copying files. I'm using win2k and it seems to be a windows' problem but a colleague of mine gets the same results. I tried to upgrade msi. Anyone's got the same problem?

this is not a problem on winxp as it has the windows installer integrated.

But for you I think you should download it from microsoft.

I have Win2K, with ServicePack2, no problems in installation on my part.

Default Can someone help me?

Can you DarkThrone or someone send me zipped file with cam2com (it seems the installation is "lighter" and just copying files could work). Thanks Martin (mailto:[email protected])

Yup, I did know that...it's been discussed several times over the past year, and we had a large discussion about it in the Oly_C-700 forum last year.
