Default Olympus SP-800 - oly goes back to bad!

Oly seem to have gone from bad to great to back to bad and to awful regarding the user interface of the SP megazooms - the SP550 was decent usabilty wise, the SP570 was a fabulous update of the user interface and features with its extra buttons, command dial, wonderful TTL Hotshoe (excellent with the FL50) and smooth ring zooming - then with the 565 and 590 they went back to the 550 interface but without the build quality or refinemenrt .

Now the 800 not only has removed nearly all the buttons, viewfinder and dials, it even looks ghastly too (here is a feel of what a 30x lens can do without viewfinder: http://olympus-sp800.blogspot.com/ ) - I hate to think what the image quaity will be like

Hard to say which traditional camera company, Nikon, Olympus or Pentax, has the worst collection of digicams. It's close, and not a good thing for any of them.
