Check this out

If I did not already have a 2100uzi, I would use Buy It Now in a heartbeat!

The Olympus E-bay store has refurb uzi's listed every few months.
In November I bought two of them, One for my sister and one for a "back up" for my year and half old one. They will usually go for from $400 to $500.
The nice thing about buying from Olympus is, you get a 90 day warranty that lets you buy the two year extended one while it is in effect.
The Oly refurbs look like new, and come with a complete set of new accessories.
Both of my uzi's were refurbs and I have had perfect luck with them!

Yes, it went for a very good price! The only downside I saw about it was it didn't include the nice Oly charger, rechargeable batteries and OM-1 remote. I guess it's a fair trade-off including a 64MB SmartMedia card and card reader!

Default Olympus E-bay store

Here is the link to the Olympus e-bay store--

Click on "Digital Cameras" at the left to reduce the amount of products on the list.
They had about 10 C-2100's last month after about 2 months without them. This has been a pattern for the last year. Keep Watching!

I am in England and have an UZI but its a bit the worse for wear. I guess any warranty wont be usable but then again theres nothing over here so a refurbished not warranty is better than none

I toyed with the idea of upgrading to another camera but TBH can't find better so have now decided to keep my UZI that does an excellent job and even buy another to back it up.. And to buy a new camera that will do the things the Uzi wont.. such as low light shooting and indoor shooting with an external flash

Have posted in general Q&A for advice on which camera to compliment the Uzi

Thanks

Addy on bit.... just read... Deliver to US and canada only
