Well, after many helpful posts here, and much consternation, Ive decided to go for a refurb'd Oly 2100 at Amazon. Its $419, a little higher than other places at $399, but it comes with a 30 day NQA return policy, and they are listed on the NYSE.. has to carry some weight. I tried calling CompUSA after someone got a new one for $365 (!!!! - an incredible deal), but there corporate product finder said they showed none on the radar. Almost bid on ebay, but the newbies seem to get up near $500+ real quick.. even ebay refurbs are $425 or more.. so I excitely look forward to my "new" camera and doing amature sports photography, so a 128SM card, and 2X teleconverter are next.. again, thanks for all the forum help

Default Help!

I received the camera today. It looks like new, and all the goodies were with it. But, I seem to have a problem. I can't get the battery door to open. I am afraid the lock mechanism is broke. Is there a trick to opening the battery door?

Thanks Gary, I just figured that out! The directions on the sheet I was looking at failed to mention that. Now I am eagerly waiting for batteries to charge.

Just a note of caution, batteries placed in upside down can damage cam.
