Default Olympus C750 dead pixels?

Hi everybody! I'm just a little bit disappointed with my new Olympus C750 (christmas present), as I suddenly noticed a few dead pixels on every Image I took. There is a white point extremely disturbing on dark backgrounds. What to do? As I'm new doing digital pictures I don't know whether this behaviour something "normal" for CCD's is?

Thansk for any advice

The dead pixel thing I was trying to get feedback on was the pixels on the LCD screen itself which are showing up as red dots when viewing the LCD screen, as far as I can gather, it is not affecting the picture itself.

Your dead pixels might be as you suggest, on the CCD itself which is transferring as white dots onto the image.
