Default C-720 Red Eye help

How can I reduce red eye in my pets pitchers? I took some pitchers the eyes where red and green. What can I do to prevent the green and red. Anybody had this happen to them before?

You would need an external flash. Redeye is a result of the flash being to close to the lens.

Gib what about the build in flash for both cameras. Could this create the the red eye too. What would the external flash do? Here speaking about my 35 MM.
Also I am sure that my Olmpus C-720 can't have a external flash. Do you know? It has a built in one.

The internal flash is the problem. It is to close to the lens which causes the red eye. The external flash is usually mounted to a support that places the flash further away from the lens and eliminating the red eye.
