Default c5050 questions

Hello,
I hope someone can help me with several questions about the c5050.
1) Is there a comparable model with a longer zoom?
2) Does it have a flash sync terminal?
3) From reading these forums, I see that many feel there are advantages of CF over xD. Are there any disadvantages with using CF cards with the c5050?
4) Steve's Digicams review says the c5050 has a super-macro of 1" min. focus, but the Olympus specs doesn't say this. Does it actually have a 1" min. focus?
5) Does the c5050 have a threaded lens for attaching filters?
I know these are a lot of questions, but I really appreciate the help.

2) No ( must use hot shoe)
3) Yes (size & price)
4) Yes

Thank you EasyRay,
Maybe you or someone else can help me with #3. You said "size and price." Are you saying CF is larger and more expensive than xD?

CF should be a lot cheaper. But its nice to be able to choose
between CF 1,CF2,smartmedia,and XD.You can also switch between CF or either smartmedia,xd on the fly with the push of a button.Just buy what ever is cheaper.

On the C-5050 , you must buy the optional adapter tube to use filters or lenses.
