Default c-5050 autofocus problem

Hi digital people!

I have noted a strange functioning in my c-5050!

The subject of picture is any people at approx 1m of distance.
The subject is on the center of picture. (A classic portrait)

My c-5050 (v79) used in landscape position, with AF, set the subject in right focus. In portrait position the focus is wrong (it's too long, and seem to focused the right of picture) !

I have tryed many time and the result it's the same:
landascape = good focus to subject
portrait = subject focused wrong !

What's the problem ? :?: :?: :?:

Thanks thanks

Default Not sure

My C5050 doesn't seem to focus well in portrait orientation. Mostly, it just takes a long time or fails to focus. I focus in landscape and turn the camera.

I have read that the firmware V82 corrects this problem with others who's 5050 v79 had this defect.
