Default olympus C-2100UZ purchase

I'm planning on buying an Olympus C-2100UZ. I
did a search and came up with many sites.

Can some knowledgeable 2100 user point me in the
right direction. I realize this is a tough
question. But you fellows know more than I do

No better advise than that from an experience
user.

Thanks.

Sorry, but I don't know what you're asking for...the right direction for what? Camera choice, review, a place to buy it?

For reviews, you can't beat Steve's Digicams (of course). The 2100 Ultra Zoom is located at:

Default olympus C-2100UZ purchase

Sorry for the vague post.

I was referring to a place to buy. A reliable seller.
I see some on Ebay. But I'm reluctant to buy
from an auction. However, this doesn't mean I won't buy
from one.

That's what I'm looking for a reliable seller.
A person or merchant who backs up what he says.

Thanks for the reply.

Default Have 2100UZ I would like to sell

I have a 2100 UZI that I am looking to sell. Quite frankly, it just has not been used much, maybe 200 shots. Not a scratch on it, original box, manuals, remote (never used). Everything that it came with. I am a good seller on EBAY ([email protected]) and can prove that I am a totally honest seller (will email you with details.) I will sell this camera for a fair price - send me an offer. I plan to list on EBAY later this week if not sold sooner. I will sell with the 8MB Smart Media it came with and (optionally) two additional 64MB and 128MB cards. Make offer with or without the additional memory. I am not quoting a price, since there are not supposed to be for sale messages posted. I would simply like to find a good home for this digicam.

I just bought a 2100 off an ebay "buy it now" auction for $369 plus $22 for shipping. I received it one week from the day I sent payment. It looks and works great. I think the sellers ebay store is AC/DC Mart. My receipt said California Electronics Corp. I have always had success on ebay - I always check feedback before buying. Look for someone who has a lot of feedback, and very very few negatives. Good luck. You'll love the camera.

ps. I just looked at ebay, and they are running the auction again.

Default olympus C-2100uz purchase

I just purchased a new c-2100uz today
from a purchase club that i belong to, and
if i am correct they also sell to non-members. They sell the unit for approx.
$510 . Check out www.shoppersadvantage.com : )

I have purchased form them for the last
four years and their service is great!
the only drawback is that digital cameras
only have a 15 day return policy if your not
happy with your purchase.

Good Luck !

I just purchased a 2100 from an Amazon retailer CEC Corp. It was a little more than other places ($399), but Amazon has a 30 day no-questions-asked return policy -- worth the extra bucks to me for a refurb unit. And I ordered a 128SM card in the same order, applied a electronic $10 coupon. took the free shipping for orders over $50, and wala - it was a refreshing experience
