I have my monitor adjusted so that what you see on screen is what the printer prints. Adjust your exposure comp. to 1.0 . Take a picture and then print it out and see if the photo looks like what you see on your monitor.

Don't worry kids, once you reach my age you won't be able to tell much from the LCD anyway Memory is cheap, take lots of shots and use the good ones. Think of the LCD as an electronic viewfinder... that's what it is.

To adjust your photography skills look at the exif data on your shots... that's where you can learn how to make the adjustments to really improve your images.
