No trouble and no complaint!!!

But still, i suggest you go to the camera shop to compare those other 4 competitive models before you make your own decision!

I tested 3 others cameras myself, I took almost 1 week to fooling around at the camera store, and took many test-shot.

And finally, I believed that 8080 fit me.

Default shutter lag on 8080?

ANOTHER BIG QUESTION IS

shutter lag outside
and shutter lag with flash indoor
and shutter lag with NO flash indoor

how does yours do?

I'm still studying the reviews of the other brands, i just have a little trouble switching cause of my love for my 2020 !

Hi there,

I'm also considering this camera. The review of Steve was very positive, but the review on this site http://www.luminous-landscape.com/re...us-c8080.shtml totally the opposite. All the features were disliked, except for image quality.

Could anyone comment on this?

Or should I consider other cameras like the Nikon 8700, Dimage A2 or PowerShot Pro1?

Greetz,

Willem

Hi Willem,

Every people has their own needed, I do not want to setup any arguement here. DON'T question me why I drive a BENZ not BMW.

What I will suggest you to do is, aim a couple cameras you are interested in, and print out as much product reviews/reports as you have question. And then, test the camera at the local retail store, and compare the function you are most wanted.

For my own requirement, I am very concern Image quality, user-friendly, and After-sale service etc.

For the 1st roundup, I find that OLY, NIKON, KM, and Canon are having very similar image quality.

For the 2nd roundup, Canon and OLY are very user-friendly. The components of these 2 cameras are very supportive and worth every penny, there is many 3rd party support these 2 cameras.

And finally, I consider that I need to take many pictures when I am taking overseas business trip, therefore, International warranty become more important to me, and there is only 2 cameras can fullfil my requirement. (either KM or OLY)

And now, you understand why I became a new 8080 owner.
