As for the Canon S1 IS vs. 770 discussion.

After beeing disappointed with the bad focus of the Canon in dim light I went to the shop today and tested AF of the 770UZ. It's a bit slower than the one of the 5060 (at least it feels that way) but was able to get a focus on every object. I wan't able to focus on the reflection of an object on glass ... cam always took objects behind the glass and focussed.

When in low light the LCD display lights up a bit and sometimes the cam needs a bit longer. But it got focus.

With the good video mode, the 10x Zoom and this positive low light test I am tempted to give it a try... Looking for a good price now.

Am concerned about the XD card. Up to which size can I use in the 770? And can I use cards from other manufacturers but Olympus? Any positive/negative experiences? I know the panorama mode needs a Oly card. Anything else?
