My Oly 4040Zoom produces strange pictures lately. Please look at the attached photograph and help me on this problem.

The camera was pointed to the street in P-mode. Shutter 1/400, aperture 2 (ISO 100, spot metering and no flash was fired).

At this time, the problem occurs every time.

Please help.....!

It looks like you're metering on the bench seat inside (versus the street). Have youtried iESP metering instead? Could you have Exposure Lock enabled?

I don't own this model, but I saw that nobody had answered your post. It appears to be a metering problem to me (wrong metering point, exposure lock accidently enabled, exposure compensation accidently used, or something along those lines).

i agree, it looks like the camera has focused on the sofa and by compensating for the darker colour overexposed the window.
