I just noticed that Costco has a C-755 on sale at a terrific price. The C-755 does not show up on Oly's web page. ??? What goes? Please help. Is it a Japanese version only or what.

Marnon -

I noticed the same thing: $380 at costco.com this week. I like the 755 better than the 765 since it has a hot shoe. I'm not sure about which batteries are better NiMH AA vs Li Ion?

If you do a google search you will find that it is a foreign camera that only costco.com offers in the US (I think). It's an updated version of the 750 but I don't know what they updated.

I'm thinking it's a good deal and will probably get it.

Isn't the 755 just a black body version of the 750?

Yea the 755 is the same thing as the 750. The 755 is a overseas camera that came over here. It is a great deal. 755 is the 750.

The C-755 is exactly the same as the C-750, except it has a pict-bridge interface support.

One more thing...In addition to pict-bridge, it also has a 14x "superzoom" function (although it doesn't work that well, IMO), and is made available in black body. There may be one or two other little things different (I have one, but don't remember the differences much anymore).
