Hello. Is there a way to automatically stamp date on pictures taken by C750 (used a Minolta before which automatically did this)? I do not use DPOF or any other image editing sw that came with the camera. Just copy the pics to my PC and deal with them there.

Thanks in advance for any tips

I believe its done automatically....I know I've taken pics and looking at them on my website gives you the option to view all photo data.Such as exposure, time date etc..........

Qimage, the dedicated photo printing prog, can add such info in any corner. You choose the EXIF info you want like date, time, f-number, shutter speed, flash on/off etc and can use any colour or size text you want. You could even have it as a global filter and never have to think about it again. Plus it doesn't mess with the original image. There's also another less flexible option for printing EXIF info in the white border below the picture.

Thanks I will take a look. My problem though is that I do not print my pics myself. I upload them to a website of a photographer and have them printed there; thus I need the date information on the saved jpeg files....

Hi there
You have to take a look at absolutely amazing program.
http://www.kozasoft.com/ps/
This "Photostamper" do what one can wish: free and exif text at user definable location, alfa blending, accessible through right click and - ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE -you can remove the imprint later if you wish.
You gonna love it

Regards

One more very important thing:
the proggy don't degrade thewhole image as a result of resaving jpeg- just the imprint area
