Hello, I want to share some test-shots from the Oly C-770. Enjoy!

No. 1:
  • full teleshot of a Birch[/*]
  • shows some purple fringing (chromatic abberation or whatever it is spelled)[/*]
  • otherwise a nice shot to my mind

  • macro shot in dim light with flash enabled[/*]
  • just make sure you don't get too close to the object to make AF work properly[/*]
  • looks very natural (colors etc.)

Images are on the sharp side, a bit (really only a little) too much contrast for my taste but very well otherwise. Not quite point-n-shoot this camera, but has potential for great shots.

As No. 3 shows the special programs come in handy now and then... I couldnt get focus on the sky here and switched to landscape program. AF and AE was set to spot. F3.7, 1/200, ISO64, 380mm full optical zoom - hand held.

The camera hunted twice through the whole range and stopped at infinity due to the landscape program. Resized to 640x480.

Am not sure about the colors, sun was going down pretty fast and lights/colors changed every minute, have the feeling its on the red side. The camera catched the sun-rays too, although they weren't that strong.
