C750_series of pictures, all taken with flash, the pictures are nice and bright and clear on the playback on the camera's LCD screen but once uploaded to the computer, all are near enough black.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I have saved them and having a play around with AdobePhotoshop as time allows.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Any idea's as to why the difference between bright preview and the dark computer screen? Have not seen this problem with any other pictures taken till this most recent batch. Has affected the last 27 of 74. Don't really want to have this as a on going problem, as it was, these were first pictures of our daughter sitting up on her own.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Any help appreciated. Cheers all.

The playback looks fine? Am confused. :?

Have you tried to upload them WITHOUT the Oly software? Plug in the cam, say "PC" and in the pop-up dialog "open in a folder" then click through directories and find your pics on cam. Copy-n-Paste them to your HD and try now - same situation?

Idea behind this: maybe the Oly Software does something with the pics while uploading?

Have a printer where you can print directly from cam? Print such a pic - dark there too?

Hth.

You are confused, so am I.

I don't use the supplied software. I uploaded direct from the camera via a card reader and I preview, index, rotate, etc using Thumbsplus and make any adjustments using either Photoshop or Paintshop as required.

Tried opening the image direct from the card reader/camera using Photoshop, same result, black picture, tried copy and paste, same result.

Have since adjusted as far as I can in Photoshop, while the results are not perfect, at least we retain the memories.

Thanks though for replying, will see if it happens again.
