Can anyone tell me if the C-4040 zoom will function with a larger memory card than the specified 128 MB?

Thanks!

As the C-4040 ONLY uses Smartmedia cards, and the largest Smartmeida card is 128megs, unforunately you're stuck with 128meg max cards.

The only thing to do is get more cards (while they're cheap before they're scarce and go up in price), or get some kind of external storage device like a laptop or portable hard drive that can transfer the pictures from Smartmedia cards (Smartmedia compatible).

Just to let you know olympus is having a deal on all Smart media cards as well as xd cards. if you go to the web site they have them but for regular pirce. To get the deal you have to call the tech support just simply ask for the sale on Smart media cards. A 128 card goes for 59.95.

Oh yea they have a awsome deal on there for a 128 XD card. for 39.99.JUST ASK

number is 1-888-553-4448 8am -10pm est.
