When shooting indoors with my c-770, i get lot of noise even in HQ mode. The same mode gives excellent photos without any noise, when taken outside during the day.

Any suggestion was reducing/eliminating the noise?

Need more information (it's like asking a mechanic to fix a problem by just saying your car is making a noise).

What mode(s) are you shooting at when indoors? What ISO (higher ISO means more noise, if you're using "Auto ISO" the camera may select a higher (noisier) ISO). Are you talking about with or without flash.

ok, i had used auto mode, used the flash, auto iso which chose the iso 64 and sometimes iso 125. with these setting the outdoor pictures came totally without noise, but the indoor ones had too much noise when seen at 100%. I got them printed at 5X7 size without any noise. But the 100% view oncomputer shows the noise.
