Default C4000Z file sizes

Does anyone know whats the down side of the C4000Z file sizes being significantly smaller than the comparison with the C40Z for example?
Looking at the reviews on this forum they are up to 30% less so something has to give.

Thanks for a magic forum,
David

I really do not know. I know that the TIFF's I was taking at the max resolution were somewhere between 2-3 MB's in size a piece. The 1024x768 pictures I take in .jpg mode are around 500k a piece.

Dave1 Do you mean shq not tiff? You've confused me. If you use tiff 2288x1712 you can only get one picture on the 16mb card.
If I take a picture at shq 2288x1712 the file size never goes over 2mb whatever I snap. The average is between 1.6mb and 1.8mb. On the c40z I had, the files were 2mb to 2.5mb. And that is what my question was about.
