Default Olympus C-2040 Wide Angle Advice

I want to add a wide angle lens on my 2040, but I'm not sure what brands to get/stay away from.

I currently have a Tiffen 43mm tube.
I am planning to buy a 43mm to 46mm step up ring
and a Kenko KUW-042 hi lens.

I haven't found much information at all on Kenko lenses.
I did see that they offer the KUW-042 hi AND the KUW-042.
I can't tell much of a difference ('hi' must stand for the higher price)

I am hoping someone can throw me a better suggestion or more info on Kenko.

thanks!!

Default Not impressed with Kenko quality...

Mike, I was in your boat earlier this year (check out this thread: http://www.stevesforums.com/phpBB2/v...amp;highlight= in the Add-On Lenses Forum), and I wasn't pleased with a Kenko wide angle lens I tried. The focus wasn't as sharp as I was expecting, and it had vignetting at four corners when used with my C2100. I ended up getting a WCON 08E, and am extremely pleased with it. You may want to give it a try.
