Okay, what settings are best suited for different environmental settings on the Olympus 8080?

In P mode my current settings are:

AF
ESP
ISO-AUTO
DIGITAL ZOOM-OFF
NR-OFF
FUNCTION-OFF
FRAME ASSIST-ON

WB-AUTO
RESOLUTION-SHQ
SCENE MODES-NORMAL
SHARPNESS+2
CONTRAST-0
HUE-0
SATURATION+2

Can I keep these settings the way they are for everyday picture taking, (example ACTION, INDOOR PARTIES, SCENIC, and LANDSCAPE). Or do I have to readjust everything for different situations. I've been experiencing the camera to be a pain in the butt. Most of my shots come out blurry, and out of focus. After doing some serious reading in these forums, I realized that I am not the only one complaining about the camera's focusing problems.

Please......any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You can put inn these settings on the " my mode" option of the camera.

Go to " set up" choose "my mode, nr.1" . Put in all the settings you want and confirm with OK.

Then go to menu " select " my mode nr.1" confirm with OK.

Then set the dial knob on " my mode" and mode nr.1 will be operational with all your preselct settings.

On this way you can put in 8 preference settings.

On this site there are 8 setting to form your camera as a leica for snatshooting. You have to search the site. I think it were options for the 5060 but it will alse work for the 8080
