we have a olympus ultra zoom c-750 uz
while reading on photo-net
I saw a mention of cam2com a free camera control program
sorry this forum will not allow me to paste the url!
search on cam2com in www or photo.net
also a mention was made about " sending the camera in" for a firmware upgrade. main thing: pictbridge compatibility.
also a file to permit d/l of photos without any software on THAT pc. on the olympus america site. ( free download)
apparently this is available as a user downloadable
file, warning..., use ac adapter or fresh batteries!!

That software has been around for awhile, but there has been mention that the current pictbridge firmware for the C750 no longer supports the computer control commands. I haven't tried it myself yet.
