Hello everyone! I have for some time an Olympus c2100 camera and I am very pleased with it except for the 2mp. I heard that there is a new firmware for iti that removes hot pixels. Can anyone tell me where can I find this update and if it has any side effects.

AFAIK, Olympus has never released a firmware upgrade for the C-2100UZ that allows a user to remap hot pixels (but Olympus can remap them). They have been known to install newer firmware in this model when it is sent in for service. But, AFAIK, this firmware doesn't remap hot pixels.

There is a Russian Utility that is reported to work on this model for remapping bad pixels (use it at your own risk):
