I am thinking of buying an olympus. Just wanted some feedback on what people think of this camera.

I have had mine since the end of November. So far I am pleased with the results that I have had with it . There are far more things to fiddle with than on my Nikon film SLRs and I like the fact you can change the ISO rating to suit the subject/lighting. I will at some stage get a digital SLR (at the moment it would be a Nikon D70 for obvious reasons) but until then I want to fully explore the capabilities of thie 8080. I'm not sure if I could go from 8 to 6 million pixels! As well as the results I am very impressed with the build quality (better than many SLRs). Whether it is as robust, this is something that I don't really want to test!!

After many months of extensive research,I purchased the C8080. From everything I haveread, its a hard camera to beat. So far I'm very impressed, coming from a hard core Nikon user. Good Luck!

Ive have had the camera since April last year and Im very pleaded with it. The camera is extremely robust. Last holidays the camera slipped off my shoulder when i was picking up my son. The camera fell onto a tiled floor, the camera continues to work perfectly. As with all digital cameras it does have its limitations but the good outway the bad.
