Default Has anybody used the Nikon SB28 with Oly 2100?

We have a C2100UZ, and have been thinking of getting a flash. However, we also have a Nikon SB28, which was rather expensive. Has anybody figured out a way to use it with the C2100? Even if we have to use manual flash settings it would be OK.

The main concern, if it can work, is if the flash and/or the camera will do some combination of mutual self destruction.

Would appreciate your experience with this.

Get the Olympus bracket and the appropriate TTL cord that goes from camera to the bracket. Now the SB28 can fit right in the hotshoe. Of course, you will not have TTL flash operation, but with the Speedlight in "auto" mode, it will be just as good. I use a SB24 this way with my C4040.

Thanks for the reply.

The Oly bracket is a bit on the high side, pricewise. Do you think that this would work with one of the inexpensive generic brackets, too?
