Can anyone tell me how to take better pictures of birds flying or other scenes that the subjects are in motion? I have a picture of ducks flying that I would like comments on. Thanks.

Set the camera on Shutter Speed Priority and select a 1/30-1/100 shutter speed. Pan the bird as it is flying. This will create a motion blurred background while maitaining focus on the bird.
