Im just curious to know if anyone has any numberson what kind of batterry life this camera gets, also how does it do on performance, if i buy it i want to know that it'll start up fast and take pictures fast, thanxxx for any help you can give

i havent got myself an lithium or nihm batterys yet.....but you can suck the life out of regular alkalines in a short day or heavy shooting.....maybe like 5 or 6 hours....

I don't own that model, but I did a search of owner reviews and didn't find any specific complaints about battery life.Seems like most owners really like that camera.

My own experience is that when using 4 AA batteries in a digital camera, the rechargable AAs last much longer than thethrow-away AAs. Buy the camera, and also buy an set of Eveready rechargeables with the fast 15 minute recharger. I think you will pleased with the battery life between re-charges. You can also carry a set of plain AAs to useas a backup if youlose powerbefore you are through shooting.
