Yeah!



For me a 5-6Mp with a focus ring, AF assist lamp and a better time for both focusing and shot-to-shot time would do the thing! If they add the IS, fine!

C'mon Olympus, we know you can do it better!:G

Unless you feel it necessary to have an Olympus, you could take a look at Panasonic's wide variety of excellent ultra zoom cameras that have O.I.S. Just a thought..........

I have the now obsolete FZ1 and I love it, even at just 2 megapixels.

Panasonic is my #2 choice.

But.... as I said, I love the picture quality from Olympus, and this is why I wait to see what they will do in this field. At least until this fall...:roll:

I was looking hard at the S1 after selling my Oly C-700 last year, but could not find one that would focus on anything in the store, at any focal length. I tried 3 different cameras in 3 different local stores over the course of 4 months.
I ended up buying an Oly C-755.
I hear there is a firmware update that fixes this issue with the S1, and hopefully thay have permanently corrected this problem in the S2...
