Default C730 flash

Does anyone else think the 730's flash is a bit weak, or is it my imagination. It doesn't seem to have the same range as the 3020.

It seems to under expose a bit too. I find I have to compensate about 0.7ev.

Anyway, at least that noise has gone.

According to Steve's reviews:

C-730 Flash Working Range
Wide: 0.04” – 18.0’ (0.1m – 5.5m) @ ISO 100
Tele: 0.5” – 14.4’ (1.2m – 4.4m) @ISO 100

C-3020 Flash Working Range
Wide: 31" - 11.8' (0.8m - 3.6m) @ ISO 100
Tele: 8" - 11.8' (0.2m - 3.6m) @ISO 100

So the C-730 flash has a longer working range so it should be more powerful. I suggest looking through your menus to see if you have the flash EV lowered (not to be confused with the lens' EV).
