Default C-50 Zoom problems

Hello!
I have a brand new Olympus C-50 Zoom and have a couple problems

- The LCD display on back has about 6 green pixels and 1 red pixel. Is this pretty common and expected for these small displays or should I return the camera for a replacement?

- When I change the resolution to SHQ from HQ and turn the camera off, the settings aren't retained, it keeps returning to the factory default of HQ. I have to reset the resolution everytime I turn the camera on ... any way to get the resolution setting to be retained?

Thanks!

I don't have the c-50, but I do have the c-4000...in the 'setup' mode menu, change the 'all reset' function to 'off'...for some reason, the default setting is'on', which means none of your changes are saved..as for the pixels in the lcd, a quick call to tech support should answer that...blessings, Johnny

If you have problems with odd pixels on the lcd take it back to the store. You can save the settings for the quality level on the mode.
