:?CAMERA NOT A YEAR OLD AND BEEN WORKING FINE. IT IS A STYLUS 300.

HOWEVER TODAY WHEN I SLIDE BACK SHUTTER ,THE LENS PROTRUDES BUT

VIEWING SCREEN REMAINS BLANK.ANY PIC TAKEN COMES OUT AS WHAT IS IN

VIEWFINDER,,JUST BLACK. QUICK VIEW WORKS AS DOES FLASH.

PLEASE HELP WE ARE OFF ON HOLIDAY SUNDAY:sad:

Hi,
If you've had the camera for less than a year, I would suggest calling Olympus for suggestions, or to arrange a repair.

PS I have read that removing the battery for a day or so, so that the camera completely resets might be worth a try.
