Default poor battery life with my oly 100rs

Hi:
i just got my oly 100rs camera and love it but the nickel metal hydra 1600mah batteries went empty in like one nights sample shots maybe 25 pics. Now ive had three digicams and know thats not right. So i went out and bought a backup set as you should anyways, and they lasted about as long? Yeah i took a few precaptured shots at the 7.5 fps but it still seems pretty lame to go empty so fast. Anybody have a clue? Let me know if you can help me at all. Peace Chris Carr

Well that dont sound right , my battery life last around 2 hrs. and thats with the LCD on most of the time. I have 3 sets of batteries and they all last about he same.
Are you using the flash a lot when you did this , did you charge them up the time it said in the instuctions , im sure you did lol .
sorry its not lasting that long , not sure why it would do that.

Default Batterly life on the E-100RS

Your problem might just be that your batteries are brand new and have not been charged enough times to absorb a full charge. I have the E100rs and, like Nancy's (Yankeegurl), my batteries last about two hours or even more, depending on how I shoot and view what I've taken. Let us know what happens.

Regards,

Willa
