I have a C-3000 Zoom camera about 4 years old. It does eveyhing I currently need it to do. The Program that came with the camera is Camedia version 2.0 I recently upgraded my CPU to XP. The program (Camedia) does not always run now, will not always communicate with the camera, and will not download more then 3 pictures at a time without kicking me out of the program. I can't locate an update to Camedia 2.0 without buying the new program. Currently I have been removing the camera's memory card and justtransferring the pictures directly from the card to my CPU using a card reader. Any suggestions? I'm concerned using the card reader all the time will wear out the contacts on the card.

Carroll, go to www.picas.com and download the free programme. It's far better than any bought one I've seen and there's so much you can do with it. I had no problem downloading form my C765. Let me know how you get on!

Thanks hansi. I downloaded the program but when I try to import pictures from the camera the only device shown is my scanner. I'm not sure how to select the camera. I'll keep playing with it. I will probably buy an additional SM memory card for the camera since these cards seem to be outdated now. I can always download by using a card reader.
