A question for C-7070 and C-5060 users out there -
In your experience, is the optical viewfinder in these cameras properly aligned with the image? In other words, if an object at a large distance is seen exactly in the center of the optical viewfinder, will that object also be exactly in the center of the picture? (I understand that at short distances the optical viewfinder and image will be misaligned because of parallax. That's unavoidable.) In a number of digital cameras I have examined the image is offset (usually upwards) from what you see in the viewfinder. I can live with a viewfinder that only shows 80% of the image (though I don't understand why engineers insist on that design choice), but I can't compose a picture if I have to guess where the center is going to be.

ok so I am not a digital camera expert, i've only had a few mostly point and shoot, and i usually never use he optiocal viewfinder, but i find the one on my 7070 to be the best one i've used, it is centered, at along distance, on a short distance is just a few notches at the top, but once you find where it is using the viewfinder even at full zoom is really easy.

i will try to post images, later
