Hello everybody

i look for a good digital camera ... i like Panasonic FZ5 (or FZ20) and Canon S2 IS ... and would like an Olympus camera ...

i wanna know opinion about this cameras... which is better ? panasonic or Canon ? or other model of digital camera with the same specification .. and up to 499$

i wait opinion from all that have one camera like this.

It's just what you want it to do. I've got the FZ5 (just shortly) and like it very much, and have been tempted by the canon S2.

The reason i chose the FZ5 is, the weight, the smaller size, the live histogram. What i missed was the manual focus.

In my idee the canon is just as good a camera as the FZ5, it's pictures (when looking at samples) are a bit sharper, but do have a bit of purple fringing (you'll have to search for it), and this is purely a feeling.

So as long as you don't want to make movies, they are complete the same, and the fz5 is cheaper ... and was the best buy for me.
