Hello everyone. One of the reasons I purchased an Olympus C7070 (beside it's reputed image quality) was it's RAW shooting abilities. Being a DSLR shooter and knowing how good RAW image quality can be with proper processing, the Oly7070 seemed to be a very good portable digital camera. The reviews spoke of fantastic images and online samples were impressive. I have however noticed that when using a Mac and Adobe Photoshop CS (and Olympus Master software) I cannot achieve the best possible image quality as when compared to in-camera jpegs and tiffs. This of course is puzzling as all my DSLR's produce the best possible images after processing it's native RAW file format.....not so with the Oly7070????I've posted a page with samples and brief review and setup. If anyone is achieving superior results when shooting in RAW mode with the Oly7070- I'd like to urge them to review my page and samples and contact me of any errors I may be doing post processing.http://stevenunez.com/olyraw/olyraw.html
