Default USB Problems

Ever since I installed my Oly 730 I have been having problems printing to my epson 680 printer via the USB connection. I didn't have these problems when my 3020 was installed.

Some way through printing it stops and reports the following:

There was an error writing to EPUSB1 for printer epson stylus 680. The system cannot write to the specified device.

The amount it prints before this occurs varies. Sometimes a couple of lines is printed and sometimes nearly all is printed.

What's the problem. Can someone shed some light on this problem before I go nuts.

I have reinstalled all the drivers several times and installed the latest after downloading the latest drivers all to no avail.

After extensive web searchng I've decided to top myself, now where's the highest building?

Seriously though, I think it's an interupt thing so I'm going to try what www.usbman.com recommends.

Worth a visit if you ever have a USB problem which appear to be common.

Failing that I'm going to get a USB2 card which I'm led to believe solve a lot of USB problems - fingers crossed.
