Default Differences between c-4040 and c-4000 please?

Can someone please tell me the main differences between these 2 cameras. I am looking at buying one of these. Both are lightly used c-4000 is 100 cheaper. TIA

The C4040 has the best optics of the two. It will shoot low light conditions better. The C4040 also has sound for video recording. The C4000 has a super macro mode and a macro mode, the c4040 only has a macro mode. I have the C4040 and a close friend has the C4000 and both cameras create excellent photos.

The C4000 also has a newer menu system with pre-programmed 'my mode' settings, the C4040 can use the RM-1 remote.

The C-4000 has live histogram feature (before taking the shot), whereas I don't believe the C-4040 does.

The 4000 has four programmable "My Modes" that you can assign custom aperture/exposure/shutter information to; the 4040 does not.
