Hello all. I am from Italy and i bought my wonderful C8080WZ a couple of months ago.

I have to admit that i discovered 1/10 of his true power and my bad i have not so much time to hunt for good photos, due to work and my last new entry son ( Riccardo )

I have seen that in the original webpage of Olympus they sell circular polarizer filters but seems that it cannot be mounted on my 8080wz.

Is that true or i have just to buy a CLA 8 to put it on?

Thanx in advance for the answer and sorry for my bad & poor english:G

You may use a circular (58mm) polarizer with your c-8080.

Make sure that it is a circular polarizer and not a linear polorizer. Linear polarizers will cause autofocus problems on digital cameras.

Ok, old thread, but is not nice to be left uncorrected.
The linear polarizers will cause metering and maybe autofocus problems on cameras (not only digital) which rely on mirrors for splitting the light (SLRs). So, you can use linear polarizer filters on any "point-and-shoot" camera. Linear pol are same effective while being cheaper than circular ones made specifically for SLRs.
