Hi Blaupunkt:

I'm a little confused by your question. Just what kind of "help" are you wanting?? The C8080 in it's super macro mode gives terrific macro shots down to 2 inches. I'm not aware of any add-on lens that would improve the top-notch quality of the macro photos of this camera.

hi, i was thinking that there is or was some sort of magnifying addon lens for some cameras (DSLR) that you can attatch onto your current lens? maybe i have it wrong though, if there was a lens or something like that i was wondering if anything was available for the 8080.

have a look here http://raynox.co.jp/english/digital/c8080wz/index.htm

I have never tried any raynox lenses but haven't heard anything particularly bad about them either, and they seem affordable..?

let me know how you get on..

I know alot of panasonic users add on a Nikon or Canon close up lens (5t or 6T for Nikon) They might be worth looking into....They are alot sharper than the standard single lens close up filters. They sell em at B&H or almost anywhere else. - Ryan
