Default what's the matter with those digital cams ?

Hi all,

After reading a lot of posts here, I've noticed that the digital cameras, even if it's the same model, differs in quality.
For example, the big thread on the c-4000 problem by marcoangels... he got a new c-4000 and then it was ok...
does that mean that quality image, even for the same model and make, often differs ????

thanks

No quality by the same camera maker do not differ. what differs the most with camera is the person behind it. If we all buy a BMW, same model, color, engine, wheels, transmission, etc., we will not drive them the same. However, one of us can buy one that stinks. On the whole, we want instant satisfaction with the camera, but it does take time of learn the nuances of the camera. We may even have to read the book.

An excellent analogy, Phil. I'm going to have to remember that!
